Panorama-style publishers' book with vibrant color pictorial boards, featuring six interconnected panels bound with original red cloth hinges.
Panoramic accordion like design with each of the 6 panels having a pull-out pop-up style three dimensional plate. Each pull-out is of an animal in a cage: lions, tigers, camels, zebras, deer, and bears. If you pull the name tags under each animal the cage it becomes a pop up picture. The entire books stands up to make a fold out panorama as well. One side of the Panorama has the pop-outs and the other side has the text describing each animal.
Condition: Very Good. All original pop-ups with no evidence or need of repair. The cover has some chipping and shelf wear – see photos. The important spines that allow the panorama are in excellent clean condition.
*Date of publication understood from publisher's imprint, cf. Blair & Margaret Whitton's Collector's guide to Raphael Tuck & Son, p. [6]. Published during the reign of King Edward VII.
