Collector’s Corner:

Jean Matet was a French illustrator and designer known for his high-quality work in children's books. He worked primarily in the early to mid-twentieth century, producing illustrations and designs for publishers such as A. Capendu. Matet's work often involved whimsical and playful characters, and he was known for his attention to detail and use of vibrant colors. Many of his illustrations were published in the form of fragile booklets that were easily damaged or destroyed with use. It is rare to find this book intact.
