Gorgeous Nineteenth Century Dutch Movable Book - Very Good
All movables are in beautiful condition with no tears, no missing pieces, and in working order. Slight tearing around the tabs - see photos for book condition. The movable plates depict: Rooster and chicken on roost, a fox is sneaking in; a poodle and a bulldog; a cat and three birds; three cats. - Buijnsters, Lust & Leering, p. 407, 418
Nederlandsche bibliographie: lijst van nieuw verschenen uitgaven by A.W. Sijthoff's uitgeversmaatschappij, 1896 lists this book on page 107

Italian: These were not branded Tuck (see photos) - Published by Ditta Giovanni Gussoni Milano
Besides
the one listed here on vintagepopbooks.com, no other copies of Italian
Tuck movables can be located online or in Italian and international
libraries. The publisher Giovanni Gussoni ceased operations in 1907; the
movable picture books were probably one of his last publishing products
(cf. Caccia, Editori a Milano, p. 165). Rosa Massara De Capitani
(1869-1925) appears on the cover of the Italian copies - probably as a
Milanese dialect poet and translator.
Dutch: Again, no mention of Tuck. Prentenboek Met Beweegbare Platen. Published by Rotterdam., D. Bolle
Germany: We have not seen a German Tuck "Mechanical Series" but have seen other Tuck movables published by J.F. Schreiber
